Dr. Jason Turowski will be stepping in as Interim Director for Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Turowski is a leader in the Cystic Fibrosis Lung Transplant Transition Regional Dissemination Network (CF LTT RDN).
Dr. Turowski joined the Respiratory Institute in 2014, after completing his both Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and a Lung Transplantation and Advanced Lung Disease Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. His Internal Medicine Residency was at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Turowski has served as Associate Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program since joining the Cleveland Clinic. Besides his role as a core member of the Lung Transplant team, he is an active member of the Medical ICU team and serves as the RI Telehealth Advocate. Dr. Turowski is a nationally recognized leader in the care of end-stage cystic fibrosis patients and their transition to lung transplantation. He is also the Director of the Lung transplant Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
The Cleveland Clinic Adult Cystic Fibrosis program is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and is a founding member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Lung Transplant Consortium. The program is also a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutic Development Network (TDN) and it participates in observational and interventional research.
