Two years ago, Kelly Reagan received a double lung transplant, necessary due to her cystic fibrosis (CF) diagnosis. Each year on November 13th, she honors her lung (to whom she was a stranger) donor by encouraging everyone to perform an act of kindness for a stranger.
"It doesn't matter how big or small the act, just as long as it makes someone else's life a little better and a little easier, if only for a brief moment. I am choosing not to call these "Random" acts of kindness because they are not random, they are being done in honor of someone [my donor]." – Kelly Reagan
Here are some (socially distant) ideas to help you get inspired.
Today, Kelly is part of the IEHSS and CF Foundation CF Lung Transplant Transition Learning and Leadership Collaborative (CF LTT LLC2). She serves as a patient partner with Columbia University to improve care for others with CF during the transplant process.
