Uma Kotagal, MBBS, MSc, has retired from a long and influential career at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She began her career at Cincinnati Children's with a neonatology fellowship and retired as Executive Leader, Population and Community Health Senior Fellow. Dr. Kotagal has also been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, named Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Foundation and Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and was honored with a proclamation from the Mayor of Cincinnati last month. "Uma Kotagal is one of those leaders in health care that you never forget. Uma lives the standard of children and families first.
