Congratulations to IEHSS Director of Team Coaching for renewing his professional designation of NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert™ (PCMH CCE™). Certified NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Experts receive thorough training and demonstrate in-depth knowledge to assist organizations applying for NCQA PCMH Recognition. NCQA's Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Experts are required to complete two NCQA educational seminars, pass a comprehensive exam, and commit to continuous learning and recertification to maintain the credential. Credentials are renewed every two years by earning 30 Continuing Education Units.
Randy is recognized by the NCQA for his integration of IEHSS knowledge, training, and practice into the PCMH content. The upcoming release of "Quality By Design, 2nd edition" includes a chapter authored by Randy, in which he showcases the process of integrating PCMH certification with IEHSS concepts. The chapter shows more than "checking boxes" for PCMH certification of primary care practices and demonstrates the development of continuous improvement capability at the front line of care best to meet patients, families, and staff needs.
