National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care

The IHI’s National Forum is the longest running conference (26 years) on health care quality improvement and safety. Attendance has grown to close to 5,000 health care professionals, offering an incredible opportunity to network and learn actionable ideas that you can take back to your own organization.

Pre-conference sessions include Learning Labs, Minicourses, a Scientific Symposium, and Forum Excursions. Learning Labs last for a half-day, while the Scientific Symposium, Minicourses, and Excursions are full-day sessions.

The two-day general conference features renowned keynote speakers, more than 100 workshops, a full Exhibit Hall, storyboard sessions, and a CEO and Leadership Summit.

This International Summit focuses on new ways to create a culture of continuous improvement, engage patients and communities in redesigning care, and chart a bold new course for the future. Pre-conference mini-courses are offered prior to the two-day general conference. This event is designed for health care leaders and professionals working in primary care and community settings, and typically attracts a diverse array of organization types and people working in a variety of roles.
